Well, after installing new bearings and bushing everywhere, and going through everything, I am going to have to sell my Laeger. We are in a financial spot and need the money, so a few of the toys will have to go. Everything is listed below, pictures will come in a few days as I get things apart. Good questions! The ESR CR250 ignition kit comes with the adapter plate, but NO billet coil mount...

I had an offer on the ignition and pipe, but final price has not been worked out, so I am considering them still available, but the person who submitted the offer has first dibs. Sorry, I am trying to be fair! :)

There is only one mount on the frame for the rear shock. I am assuming this is a CR500 link only frame...

Pictures to come later, we are still dismantling and cleaning.

The $100 set includes a 42T Hard Anodized Talon, 38T no name sprocket, two 12T countershaft sprockets form Sprocket Specialists, and a 13T no name countershaft sprocket. Also included are sprocket bolts and stainless nuts. No hooked teeth, the sprockets are in new/excellent condition. This price will also include the LSR sprocket carrier. Shipping is not included.

If there is any rust it is simply surface rust from the previous owner washing the quad. All threads are fine. The box is HEAVY!

Okay, here are the pics of the Pro-Trax front end (+3+0), powdercoated Sparkle Silver, the Pro-Trax steering stem (powdercoated Bengal Black). You can see one set of a-arms have the new Helm bushings installed, the other set still has the Laeger bushings. I just bought the Helm's a few weeks ago, and only had the time to install one side. The bushings have ZERO time on them. I will also include the Laeger bushings and pins, they had no play when I pulled them out.

The Custom Axis front shocks are shown below also. They measure 18.75" eye to eye, just like the matching rear shock. 3-way adjustable, in excellent condition.

I also have some wheels/tires, but shipping may be expensive...

I forgot to mention the Tag bar clamp is an antivibe. It fit my 250R Pro-Trax steering stem perfectly.... The antivibe bushings only have 4 hours on them.

Center to center on the mounting studs is 3-3/4". Includes stainless hardware and a nice new style Tag bar pad.

No one wants a Laeger Pro-Trax T-Pin front end? Shocking!

Does everyone know the difference? The T-Pin uses heim joints instead of ball joints. The T-Pin also does not bind up at full extension or compression because of the heim joints.

Anyone who has ever landed a jump on ball joints and had one let go should know how terrible they are. Unsafe at best. I hate ball joints on quads... I had one let go on a landing and nearly went over the bars as my lower a-arm dug into the sand. No warning...

Heim Joints function and perform the same, but they are captive. They can NOT let go. They will get play in them and eventually wear out like everything else, but they will not suddenly fail.

The Pro-Trax front end is the easiest front end to turn ever. No stiction at all, just super smooth operation. Mine turned so easily I had to mount a steering stabilizer to slow it down in the dunes. It is the EASIEST steering front end I have ever ridden....

***For $1100 you get the entire front end, as in both upper and lower +3 a-arms, the T-Pin spindles, tie rods, and a standard length Pro-Trax steering stem (powdercoated black). All hardware on the spindles is stainless steel. Brand new Helm Bushings reside in the a-arms (a $100 value!).

P.S. If you need a +2 steering stem I know someone who would trade for the standard length stem I am including in this deal.

What's up with the stem? I've never seen a Laeger like that, even the older ones from like '93. The only dual plate top clamp design I've seen was on an older Houser that I used to have.

It is a Pro-Trax stem with anti vibe. The dual design is because of the anti vibe bushings I assume.... If someone buys the front end for full price I will throw in the matching Tag Metals anti vibe clamp. It is for Fat Bars.

The chassis was built in 95, it was one of Doug Eichner's old quads...

I know what kind of stem it is, lol, but have never seen that design on a Laeger, only the old Housers. I've had 3 T-pin stems (2 bikes and one spare stem), but they were all newer years ('99, '01, '02) I'd guess some extended, shortened, or bent and replaced that top piece at some point. Unless Laeger's actually made them that way. I've seen over 200 Laeger Pro Traxes and never a stem like that, lol.

Still a sick bike though and brings a tear to my eye to see one parted after I parted my last Laeger out :-(

I'm waiting to see on the clamp, my new TAG stem should be here anyday now. I want to measure to make sure the 250R clamp for TAG is the same. I can't imagine why they'd be different. So if you still have it in a day or so and it measures out, I'd take it.

312R1 just got rid of his +2 stem, traded it with another forum member. Ihave the standard stem that comes with the set only, unless someone else wants to trade that for a +2 Pro-Trax stem...

I am still waiting for the left side engine case to come back from the welder. It is being repaired as there was a hairline crack there. It may be done already, I need to call them...

I have the ignition out, and it is being sold separately. If you are at all interested in buying the engine without the left case repaired let me know. The entire engine has new bearings and seals throughout, less than 40 hours on them. A brand new long rod Honda crank sits inside. Wiseco 68.5mm piston with fresh rings make up the top end, along with an o-ring'd Pro Design Cool Head. The engine runs on 91 octane pump gas, with a 173psi compression reading after a few kicks. Only Red Line 2 stroke racing oil was used as premix, at 32:1 always.

**I can include a brand new sparkplug, brand new complete gasket kit, and an extra stock cylinder and Wiseco piston.

If you want it as-is, with the unrepaired left case half, let me know. I can do all that stuff mentioned above and just send it off to you for $650 shipped. That is $50 off and free shipping, plus the extra gaskets and complete top end. I can get the engine in the mail ASAP.

If it turns out the left case has already been repaired, I can reassemble the engine and send it off in running condition. Add another $50 if you want it assembled and ready to go....
