clutch springs

has anyone put stiffer springs on there stk clutch, where did you buy them, cost, and did it make the clutch grab better? tx:macho

FDO sells clutch springs, about $32. I would have to double check my paper work to be 100% sure on the price.

barnett springs were only $12 from my dealer for my warrior (5 springs) and $10 for my 300ex (4 springs). Much heavier duty than stock.

I would stongly suggest staying away from barnett springs. Yes they are stiffer but they will lose that quick. I run the FDO springs on my 426 and they have the same compression now after a season on them as they did at thebegining of the year.
