how to get my power out of a stock exhaust

how do i get more power out o a stock exhust on a 400ex what welds do i grind out and any other tips and also if anyone know how to get more out of a 300ex and 250ex plz post it for me thanks alot

take the pipe off and replace it with an aftermarket one. dont waste ur time

Go with aftermarket. at least an s bend. Some companies do sell aftermarket spark arrestors for like 50 bucks and they add a little power, but the only way to get a noticeable difference is to get an aftermarket pipe.

For starters, try running it over. If that doesn't work try throwing it away.............

I have taken my 400 stock unit and reshaped the gut and added a new inner tube assm. and get results. I do this so we can still run STOCK class in a few differant sanctioning bodies in the area. email me for more info

i tried a fmf slip on and my stock pipe felt better on the top end so i put the stock back on untill i can get a x-6 and yes i changed the jets i am a tuning freak................
