I have a 400ex and was told the stock front wheel offset is 3+2. Is this correct? I am looking to go a little wilder up front, maybe an inch or so on each side. I was told I want 2+3. How much wider will this make my front end, and will this cause any weeknesses up front? I don't jump much higher than 6 feet. This is on stock a-arms.

Stock is a weird offset...its like 3x1.5 or something like that...if your looking for more width get 2x3...

What is the total width I would get out of 2+3??

I think your front end will be about 46" wide...

stock is 4:1.5, 2:3 will make you wider(about 45 or 46 depending on the tires), but supposedly will increase bump steer, but the extra width helps. i have my stock rims fliped right now and it handles really nice. actually a little to wide. i'll be gettin 2:3's cause my stock rims are shot. it looks really funny with the front 2 inches wider than the rear. my front is 47.5 right now.
