Okay I know 450r shocks will fit on a 400ex thats a given but has anyone heard of any other 450 shock working on the 400 with little or no modification?? :ermm:

Just put Suzuki LTR's on mine, got plus 1 a-arms and the shocks are almost perfect in height with the heims at the top of the travel limit. Gotta grind the top shock eye down a bit and grind the tab behind the top shock mount down too. Also, gotta make some bottom spacers for the bottom mount or you coulc stack some washers. No biggie though, still waiting for a chance to check 'em out, trying to go this weekend.

so the suzuki ltr450s work just fine?? and i thought the YFZ's where shorter then the stock shocks!!

anyone know about kawasaki 450r shocks will fit on a my 400ex with +2 a arms with standard travel
