WE got are first snow today and they say were getting more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have had snow now for the past two days now. Havnt been to school all week. Now they are saying that we are sposed to be getting more snow tonight and thursday!!

no snow here but its colder that a mofo. lol but hey im out of school for 5 days and have only had school 9-1230 everyday the week then monday i got off and next weeks schedule is 9-2 everyday then i have monday after super bowl off i love the month of january lol

Just got off work. we have about 2 inches on the ground and its all frozen ice under it. Its starting to clear but they say on the weather channel that we are sposed to get a bad *** snow tomro hopefully so i can get some snow ridn in.

we got some snow today, they say it's going to snow alot tonight and tommarow and we don't have school for the rest of the week anyway because parent-teacher conferences and no school Monday for the holiday:D i'm so happy

Here in NY, we really don't know what know is?? Especially this year!!!! I'm going to emphasize (spelling) on this " NO MORE SNOW PLEASE!!!" We have over 2ft of snow on the ground and looks like its going to be here for at least a couple of months. Thaw time, it looks like the mid of May. Going by our forecast and the Northeast, we're talking a high temp of 20's into next week. We have snow squalls and just flurries everyday. I also have snow banks higher than my car. Anybody that wants snow, you can take it!!! Please!!!:D

Yep, and so are the school officials...for cancelling school even before it snows, what a joke. Areas around Lexington seem to cancel school if a dog pisses on the road, and it freezes...:eek:

I got about 11/2 feet, to 2 feet of snow. Last few years we havent been getting any snow! It was awesome when I was like 12 years old used to almost get 4 feet of snow. Got a lot of snowdrifts around here though, prolly some spots almost 6 feet tall. I had a snowday on monday, cause we got about and foot, and it was extremely windy, so it was white out conditions.

Tants, I don't think so!! Unless they changed it?? Last time I checked, its suppose to get colder!! A low of -2 and a high of 18. I'm pretty up on the weather because it affects my work so I have to prepare for it.
For some reason, for you people that live down south. When you guys get snow, the whole state shuts down. My parents go down to SC for the winter and when they get snow (like 2 or 3in), its like a state emergency. Maybe because they don't have the equipment or something??? When my folks tell me about it, I kinda laugh.
But, I am glad I don't live near Buffalo. Every year they deal with that lake effect snow!! That pretty much sucks!! Once again, if you want snow then take it!!! I don't want anymore!!

I'm about 100 or so miles directly south of you and by 1:50 we had about 6" on the ground. This is the most snow we've had here in years:D

There is about 5-6 in on the ground right now and we still have school tomorrow.:( All of the other schools around our area have been out since Wednesday.:mad:

we still got my 2 1/2 feet up here or 2 ft.

Buffalo is overrated. They just complain the most about it.
On average we get about 150 inches a year where Buffalo ends up with about 95. Lake Erie isn't as wide and freezes over faster killing the large lake effects.
