I shot a small 4 pointer at around 200 yds friday night with black powder then opening day saturday night i shot this guy

Just a few from MD's early smokepole season. By the way these are all sika deer, an asian elk that were released on the eastern shore at the turn of the century, smaller than whitetails but better eating.:D

Yeah the 2 in the middle are nice, I shot the one on the left and the one on the right had one really nice side and only a little fork on the other, but still a nice deer. The guy who shot it had one that was bigger come by but it wouldn't stop.

I shot a nice size 8 pointer this morning..tracked it for ever! After about 2 hours of hunting for it and 8 slugs later he finally laid over... this thing was a trooper, he had about 4 slugs in him (12 gauge slug btw) and was still jumpin up and runnin from me when we'd be close, the next four took em tho :D

Thanks! The dont really show the points that well but it shows the width good! 18 and 3/4 in. wide inside to inside. Weighed 175lbs
