need help quick

i was rejetting my carb the other day, and trying to get the stock pilot jet out.....it was so tight in the bottom of the carb, i snapped the head apart, as i tried to remove it.....now i have one messed up situation.....i tried drilling it out, but the bit keeps coming off the jet, cause it's damaged......nothing seems to be working......i have screwed with this thing for a few hours, trying to get it out & it's starting to $$$$ me off.....i believe i'm going to bring the carb into my local dealer & see what they have to say......Any suggestions?

go to the parts store and buy you an easy out......i know this sounds crazy but, you are turning it in the right direction right?:huh counter clockwise......i just can't amagine it being so tight.

yeah i can't believe that it was that tight as well.....thanks for the info....i guess i'll try it w/ an easy-out kit....
