thanks for the pics i have a some more questions. What are you using to get the rear clutch apart? What are you using for lube in the front clutch? and on the rear shoes are you drilling both sides to get it to 180 grams?? thanks very much what are you showing in the third pic?

You cut the end off then drill the back side.
I use a impact wrench to get the rear clutch apart. It is left handed thread.
A dab of high temp grease to hold each roller in the front clutch.
The third pic is the oil pump drive. You leave that off if your going to run pre-mix.

thanks my lt had the oil pump removed when i got it so i had not seen that before. do i need to lighten the front rollers at all or just leave stock weight. in the front clutch i have a washer between the two pulley haves should this be there or should i remove it. is it some kind of limiter?

Leave the rollers alone. Check for flat spots and replace if there are any.
The washer must be used (1989 and newer). It's not a limiter.
The 87/88's had a longer spacer and no washer.
