Will a 400ex Tc shorty bolt up to a 05 450r? I have a trade offer and wondering if this will work with little or no modifications they look the same in pics...

not a chance. 400ex = 2 exhaust ports.

sorry I meant just he slip on part I will be using the stock 450r header...

when i got my 450, it had a fmf powercore for a 400ex on it because it was so new when he bought it, that was was no exhasut for it. the pipe lined up and the bottom bolt lined up, and it had the metal wrap around the canister that would slide back and forth. so im thinkin you have a good chance

Well I am going to get it and try it today thanks for the input the bends look pretty close so it might work

if it doesnt use the mount thats up by the grab bar, then im thinkin it will work.

no it doesn't have to make a mount on the subframe
