Just got finished putting this together.. It a retired NJ State police cruiser. I bought it with a tired 5.7 and a brand new 0 miles trans. Took the trans out and had my buddy beef it up a little bit for me and decided to throw this into the engine bay... :D

This puts out a stout 400rwhp... I had some body work done and put some newer front seat in the car..

After the paint job the body is flawless

I'm going to rip it down the track to see what it can do... It's great driving this car.. With the new suspension components and bushings it rides so smooth it's like your flying.. Plus on the highway people get out of your way.

So the REAL question is....Will it have as many hookers in the back in it's new life than it did in it's previous life? ;)

Haha, jk...I've always liked the idea of owning an old cruiser. Cool toy.

Dude, I had an old 9C1 Caprice and it was a ton of fun! I was lucky and had the upholstered back seat. Some have the molded plastic ones. The thing wasn't a rocket but it was fast enough to run with my buddies bone stock 94 Mustang GT.

very nice, any plans for exhaust? i think SLP or a nice flowmaster would sound good

I have a duel exhaust setup with H pipe on it now with flowmaster 40 series. I hate that drone at 2k rpm. I'm thinking of going with a magnaflow maybe in the future. I love how this thing sounds at WOT. There are a couple of other things I want to do to it but being I just got it finished I just want to drive it around a little. The guy that dyno tuned it said it should go mid to low 12's in the quarter. That sounds like a lot of fun on te street to me. :)
