Having problem with idling

I adjusted the valves on my 04 450r today. when i put it back together and started it up, it doesn't idle like it did. It idles fine at first but when i stab the throttle it revs up fine, but it takes a long time for it to idle down after i let off the throttle. Sometimes it doesn't even idle back down. I took the carb off to fix the hotstart cable but i didn't mess with anything else

i'm having the exact same problem. it idles really high until i let out the clutch alittle to put pressure on the clutch and then it idles down.

My bike was having this problem until I put my motor and carb on another fourwheeler. Problem solved. My guesses for what fixed it is a new throttle cable, or the wiring harness as something was messed up with the TPS.

i can let out on the clutch a little and it still doesn't stop. i think i have a vacum leak or the hotstart isn't closing all the way
