I think you should get what your name says! Big Gun. Sparks is a great exhaust too. Havent heard much of the trinity. The main pipes to look at for the 400 are the HMF, Big Gun, LRD, and Sparks.

all of the shootouts are old. they have all improved over the years. HMF is also a good quality exhaust. sound isnt a issue in my area and where i ride. anything is going to be better then this suppertrap i have on there now. its what was on it when i got it, just wanting to improve.

it is a starting point to help compare them. I like my t-4, hmf is good, sparks is good, trinity is good. Basically pick one and see how you like it. It depends on where you want your power to be. more mid, get a mid range pipe, choose the best exhaust for you. Look at the charts and see how the power is delivered and where and you will be able to make a better choice from that. steve

I like how they test the e-series with a few less discs then the CT. I wonder if CT tossed a little $$$ their way to make that happen..... I run a 4" supertrapp racing series with 11 discs. When I got the pipe it only had 7. Huge difference in performance with just 4 more! I tried all different numbers of discs until I got the perfect performance and sound balance. Pulls as hard as my T4 did without the extra db's. Disc style spark arrestors will flow better then screen arrestors....... when there's a enough discs. If people knew how to set up the e-series properly it might still be around. They have the CT at 102 decibels too which is ridiculous. That's borderline irresponsible for the sport IMO.

what about the lexx or the hmf slip on?

< HMF slip on for sale, I have a quiet core too if your concerned about noise.

Going by the results of the shoot out, which is a little dated, you'd have to say the T-4 is the best all round!

Price and weight are as good or better than most, it's a bee's knee from producing the most power and it's quiter than nearly all of them.

Noise and cost would be my first objections with any pipe. They all make better HP than stock.

For what it's worth I have a Rocket slip on which I find good.

Check out the DR in the photo bucket of my sig. Real nice fit(2 into1 header pipes),great deep bass sound, with impressive gains throughout.
