Archery season opened here today ....but the weather was foul! We had some things to get done but took the afternoon off and decided to not hunt with the bows and use the camera instead.

I knew the deer would be moving but did not want to get waterlogged sitting in one stand all evening. It was alot drier in my camera blinds!

down in nepa we had the same luck as you well ours was worse we saw nothing. except on the way home! go figure!
and in pa now its early muzzleloader season archery seaon has been in for about 2 weeks and i dont know one person whos killed a deer!

this upsets me and i hate you, jkjk;) . ive only seen 2 deer worth shooting, passed up plenty of does though. the closest i got to gettin the one i saw was, when he was walkin 20 yards in front of me, straight at me. i got my bow up with out him seeing me some how, and right about the time i felt my arm was goin to give from holding so long, he turns his head. so i go for the shot, heard a big thump, for sure i got it. i look for a blod trail, cant find one. went to get my stuff outa the stand, and my arrows stick in the ground about 10 feet to the left. looked at my bow and my draw line had snapped, and that the thump i heard. went home and shot at my target, and shot 10 feet to the left. makes me so mad.:mad:
