Quad magazine shutting down?

I just saw this on a different forum......... "The December 2009 issue of Quad will be the last. Thank you for all your support! For subscription questions, call 866-807-4877"

This is too bad, im gonna miss all those hot poster girls! Seems wierd though becuase they have been sending me all sorts of renewal offers.

last issue for the year maybe? lol idk but thats sad if they leave the business, deffinately my favorite offroad magazine.

i saw this coming. a while ago i think i saw how they said the economy is bad and stuff so they can't put a poster in every magazine cause its too expensive and stuff

If its all of the transworld magazines I will cry lol IMO they put out by far the best magazines. Great picture quality and everything, stories you cant wait to find out what happens next, and updates on new or upcoming things.

quad magazine was my favorite by far also, dirtwheels is ok but too yamaha bias (and I have a yfz450)

I just got a renew my subscription letter in the mail today. Weird! I'm glad I didn't fill it out before I read this. And I wonder why there's nothing posted on their website about this yet?

yea i saw it gettin smaller every issue that came in the mail. it was startin to dissapoint me how each issue became smaller and smaller. this was by far my favorite atv mag. i just got my resubscription letter in the mail too. its actually setting on the table to mail back out. glad i read this 1st. thought it was odd there wasnt a 2yr option to pick.

I got a letter in the mail a couple months saying that atv sport stoped making issuss also. I was mad because now there sending me some utilitly quad magazine. Im guessing quad subscripers will get the same

Transworld Motocross was fatter than ever this issue...:huh .... Maybe they should diet that one and send some funds to Quad.

We received the renewal letter and the bf called and we got the bad news Friday. They're refunding the subscriptions via checks in the mail . I'll miss it that's fo sho!:(

dang... quad mag was one of the most quality things this sport had :( ...it was put together well and of the same caliber as the other tw mags. made it feel like the sport was important enough to have some good publication and that we were moving up! guess not haha... I never thought the magazine would grow to be HUGE like twmx or Hot Rod or any of that but I definitely didn't thing it would be shutting down. :ermm:
