Have a 05 TRX450R ,not sure if the cooling fan is coming on .Aside from letting it sit at idle to see if it comes on ,is there a way to test it ?
Thanks

The wire he is talking about is the one on front of the motor, close to the the coolant hose.

I've got an 04, where is this wire? Maybe i'm over looking it.

Wondering the same question about the fan working.

It's close to the radiator hose coming from the top of the engine. It's the only wire connected to the front of the engine.

Oh, so just leave the thermostat in the hole and then ground off the wire?

Yes, the wire will have a female end. The thermostat housing is the male end. Just take that wire, and ground it to the frame somewhere.
