Riding tales..

I've been missing out on riding ( actually not riding at all ) work is taking over and riding just seems to allow when ever my back pocket frees up enough cash to buy vp lol' I can't help but just sit back and think about all of the close calls, thrills, spill and great memorys riding has given me to pass on.. I always love to hear others talk about their experiances out on the trail, track or a build so with that said..

Let's hear some of your best memorys, your closest calls.. post some pictures, videos :)

some of you may remember this, I still laugh everytime I think about it.. Built a quad in my living room then come to find out my sliding glass door wouldn't come apart due to the foundation of our old house shifting.. needless to say that mofo came apart lol pry bars do wonders, glass in the doors didnt hold up so well.. :devil:

On group rides, the old school exrider guys weren't much of the man vs wild type lol Tommy and me ended up walking around the tracks at Rausch creek looking for fire wood with no flash lights in the pouring rain, couldn't find anything dry or worth carrying so we grabbed some small stuff, some wet hay he grabbed from a tree.. about 3 cups of vp later and a couple burnt eyebrows we gave up on the fire..

I remember sleeping in a damn tent with no pillow ON ROCKS that night too..Listening to tommy and ridinjesse snore their arses off lol

all my riding memories have come from camping at the coal piles with a bunch of friends or going to rocket raceway for a weekend when a local shop rents it out but those pictures certainly aren't appropriate to post lol.

one time we were riding on trails in the middle of nowhere during a winter storm and stopped at a restaurant to warm up. Our feet were totally soaked and when we got back out to ride the water in our boots froze...meaning our feet were completely surrounded in ice :scary: not to mention we couldnt push our throttles because the cables froze too. I wanted to just get off and die already but we still had 60 miles back to camp :o im pretty sure i had to use a blowdryer to get my boots off when we got back lol

my story: my son and me went out with some friends to the dunes. it was my 2nd time going out and my sons 1st. we were riding up and down small hills. we saw a mid size hill and tryed small jumps. my son wasnt jumping, he was only riding up the hill. i tryed jumping it. little did i know, NOT TO LET OFF THE GAS. Yeah, you guesed it. I speed up flew up the hill, the 400 stoped, i kept going and hit the sand. my buddy said, that was a good Superman, crapy landing. my son said are you dead?

Haha yeah I don't like seeing Sam infront of me. He actually had a 450 now but I haven't got to race him much this year.

HAHA! those were the good ol days... Wow I still had the old 2005 red silverado in that picture:huh

That was probably the best ride we had, I remember packing like 10 people in the silverado and driving around trying to find food. We went to arbys and remember the person in there that we couldn't figure out if she was a guy or a girl. The IT! haha I wish i had a picture of that... Nothing will beat the rausch rides with the old crew...
