new ballence tire

I am thinking about getting a set of the new bill balance tires from maxxis.Has anybody ran these yet?If so are they worth the extra money.I am running kenda knarly now and i cant stand them.Thanks for the info in advance.

Front - Looks very similar to Razr2's up front.

my brother just got a set of these today for his banshee. got em for 30$ a piece. they are the 20-11x9's. these tires are very aggressive and the traction is unreal, almost too much traction in some cases. the knobs are about 3/8''s inch wider than the ones on the itp holeshot gncc tires, and about 1/16'' taller knobs too. and these have way more spacing too. the knobs are pretty soft, a little softer then the gncc holeshots imo. in the pic thats my 250r beside my brother's banshee, and mine has the 21-11x9 gncc holeshots. and heres some cell phone video of him doing a dead engine start. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_6tnLoVzG0Q

he got em from bill ballance. we live like 10 mins from his home work shop where he keeps and works on all his bikes, I drive by it every day going to work. we've been there several times before to buy used tires for like 20-30$ a piece. he had these on the rack and I asked how much he'd take for em, he said about $30 a piece.

and yes we all wear helmets when we ride so dont freak the **** out :eek: :rolleyes:
