i need help quick please

i have a 250x and the item on ebay ends in 15 minutes its a cylinder and head w/ port job and a 12:1 piston..what kind of gas do i need to run. i have a 11:1 piston sittin here too standard bore im not sure of the 12:1 but im thinking with the 12:1 i would have to run like 100octane or more please help

yeah im pretty sure over 11 ya gotta run race fuel on air cooled motor

yup you should run race gas with 12:1 compresion

a 12:1 wouldn't be good on your bottom end either..and prolly 104 octune would be required

well i do have a race fuel pump by my house its just about 4bucks a gallon

whats this 104+ octane race fuel additive i see in stores too would that work i dont think it would honest question though

yep it would work....octaine raiser i forget the exact name...but my 1 friend ran it in his shee...its the cheap way out of race fuel. although i would not recomend it unless ur hard for cash because its not as clean as pure race fuel with all those chemicals....

I don't think I would use it every fill up, because of the other additives in high octane gas besides the octane. :D

that octane boost stuff yousee in auto parts stores will bump the octane aprox 3 points, and will treat 16 gallons, so if you ran a swuper that was 92 octane with the additive you would be 95 I actually use a similar product made by NOS that is there offroad octane boost bumps it by 7 points and I buy ultra fuel I belive it is 94 octane so it pushes me over 100 octane for aprox $2.50 per gallon including the additive
