XR 50 set up for my fat arse

i just got back from Stillwater Honda and i was talking to the owner and he said he could get me a brand shhppankin' new 03' XR 50 with the tripple clamps and suspension mods and a pipe for $2200. what do you guys think about the price. yeah or neigh

hehe if you have money to blow on a mini, sure hehe. but you might as well get an older used one or something your just going to be tearing it up. unless it's for a kid or something.

i think its a dumb idea, but if you want to go for it, but keep in mind if you plan on modding it out you might as well get a used one, or think of the stuff you can buy for that 400. You could get a-arms, better shocks and a extended axel just my opinion

i have that site bookmarked. Skin makes a graphic kit for them and i want to get that one to match my 400

that is what i can get a stock one for. but the one im looking at already has suspension, pipe, bars, and any color plastic.

go for it man, dont let these guys talk u out of one, they dont know what thier talking about, dont buy used unless ur just using it to get around, thier more fun than quads sometimes, well most of the time, buying used means u get something thrashed and u dont want that, if it has what he says def go for it !

$500 will get you a brand-spankin new148cc, 3.5 horsepower Mini-bike. mines got all kinds of nifty features, the most noticeable being NO SHOCKS! lol. it is still kind of fun to jump:p

lol..this is really O\T, but im gonna share it anyway.
i go to a private school, and there is no shop whatsoever. we have to ware polo shirts and khakis. anyway, for science class, we had to pare up and do some kind of demonstration showing a chemical reaction. so me and a buddy decided to show how an engine works. and the engine we are using is off of my mini-bike.
anyway, we took basically the whole thing apart and it is sitting on a table in our science room. we are going to show all of the basics on how it works to my dumbarse class tomorow. then we gotta put it all back together

500 is way to high for a mini biek, u could get a late model z 50 for that much , faster and suspension

Im sure Wiredmini could hook you up, he seems to know into these things the most. If I had the money I would do it. Looks fun :D .

One thing though, I would go a little bigger than a XR50. Do they make an XR80? That probably wouldn't bring a bend to your back so much ;)

xr 80 is fullsize and not as fun and u break more **** on them and on u, thats why im cautious about a 150 , i cased a double with a xr 100 and bent wheel some and hurt too


xr 50, ttr 90,klx/drz 110 is the only way to go, i like xr 50 myself

i bought a used bike once and i looked great but was a wad. I was going to have to put more into it than it was worth.

Why don't you guys just get a Cr80 or something like that....That's what I want to Get. From what I have heard, They fly for 80's.

:huh cr 80 is faster than ur quad, what fun would that be plus thier big, if i was gonna get something lik that id get a cr 250
