is there any pros or cons for storing a quad on a stand over the winter? I usually keep mine on my atv jack between rides but have a buddy that wants me to store his for the winter and was going to put it on a stand.

The only way to properly store your quad,
is on a stand with the wheels just off the ground,
at a slightly nose up position,

in a Fully Filtered,
Nitrogen filled,
Temprature - Humidity - Barometric pressure controlled,
Diffused LED Illuminated,
Aroma Therapy,

"Snow Globe"

Here's the one I suggest...

Everybody here uses them !!!

I also like to keep a continous loop of soft Classical, or Opera music playing nearby, so the quad stays comfortably relaxed.

but on ride day,...
It's the theme song to Top Gun !!!

I have always been told in the winter and long periods of times to keep it off the ground. Takes the pressure off the shocks and tires. And in the winter I put some stabilizer in the tank.

I don't see how cold or snow has any effect on a clutch. We ride in the snow all the time and have never had an issue.

If I get hung up I just give it more gas and rock it back and forth and side to side.
