Well, I had to compress them a bit to get them in, but not bad. It rides a bit high in front, but nothin terrible. I am NOT cutting the stock frame and making new mounts. I decided to cut the lower a-arms and make new mounts there. If you notice the 400ex a-arms, the stock shock mount is way up high on the a-arm. I plan on cutting out the cross section and fabricating a new mount that drops the bottom of the shock down about 2". I am going to wait until this spring, too cold, don't want to cut and weld in the garage. Besides, no room. 4 cars, 1 extra car frame, 4 quads and a trike, moved the other quad and motorcycle to the basement, but still need more room. :devil

Yes, I did polish it, but haven't gotten around to redoing it for a while. I did it about 1 1/2 years ago. If you saw it up close, it doesn't look as good as the pics. It has dings, scrapes, scratches and lotsa boo boos. i will get around to sanding it down and re-polishing it when I tear the whole machine down to get it all powdercoated and repainted. It does look real good after it gets cleaned up. They look 100% better with a high polish look than the stock brushed aluminum that comes stock. Just my opinion.
