Can you still get oem honda red fenders for the 88 250r? i have been out of the r loop for a decade or so - dont be hatin :)

yes, you can get them. Its not cheap~$800. The place I got these prices from has them in stock, they even have 86, 87 and 88 frames, atc frames and other stuff, I've been told are discontinued.

I've bought a TON of stuff from babbits in the past. I will say just because they show not discontinued doesn't mean they aren't from them either. I called them on some plastic for my 89 about a year ago, the microfishe said they were available with prices so i called them and they said to call a dealer if the dealer can get them then they could also. So I called the Topeka Honda dealer and no go. Called Babbits back and confirmed this, they couldn't get the plastic. She told me she could put in the order and they may backorder them and make a run when they get enough orders.

However, that was like a year ago maybe more and if Honda gets enough orders for parts they will make a run of them and open the order boards. Hope so.

BTW, If anyone finds or comes across a brand new set of 89 white, (just the rear and the two front pieces) whatever the price let me know.

I don't know what that style for sale on ebay came from but the L shaped cutout for the latch doesn't work well with the 88-9 latch. It makes it hard to get the latch undone because some of hte plastic support is missing...

The part number on that one matches the 86-87 style. I think they are slightly different than the true 89 style white.
