gas tank heat shield

is anyone running without the gas tank heat shield? have there been any heat problems. need to remove mine for my project. just wondering. Thanks jeff

Ha Ha I posted this on IATVHSS and everyone on that side said you needed one. Im removing my so I can jet it and adust everything faster. Im putting a cv4 heatshield I think it runs 75 bucks. Keeps the fuel cooler. Just and idea
