I have built some nice quads in the past, but to me I feel they all kind of look the same. I want to do something completely different for 2010. What color schemes do you think I should do.

Here is some past builds:

i think the 05 bike looked the best. i like the blacked out look. what sabout black frame, wheels, a-arms and such with white plastic with some bright blue or green color graphics? not kawa green but more of a puke green.

The first thing you have to figure out is what color plastic you want to run. It is easier to base frame color off of plastic color then trying to find a plastic color that looks good with your color of frame. Also to change it up there are things you can do to the engines to add a few more eye catchers. For racing alot of that is not needed. Depends on how extreme you want to be. But I know with doing the show builds where mine has been so much different is I had it down to every little detail.

well These are the options I had in mind:

Plastic:
- red with a carbon fiber hood
- white plastic with a white hood quadech.

frame:
- gloss black and subframe
- candy blue and subframe
- silver frame and subframe

A-arms:
- bright orange
- candy blue
- silver
- gloss black
- bright red

graphics:
- color match background of plastic w/ a bold bright design

Other:
- nerfbars, grab bar, bumper, wheels = gloss black
- radiator hoses = match color trim
- brakelines: black or red sreamline
- handguards: match plastic color

I would go White on White with the hood and plastics... Gloss Black Frame and Subframe... and Bright orange A-arms swingarm and black stem. with white handguards.

Or I was thinking. White plastics, Red hood, red seat cover, red hand guards, gloss black frame and subframe, with gloss red a-arms and swingarm. and all your nerfs, bumpers and rims black.

That would be differnt... if you had the right graphic kit on that it would all blend in and look great.

Also what kinda shocks are you running with it. they make a huge differnce in the look of the bike. i like PEP's with black covers on them or fox shocks. makes them all black. but since you have PEP's on all your recent bikes im guessing you are staying with them.

I've always wanted to see someone go truly retro and match the original 250r with White Plastic, Red and Blue Trim and Gold wheels.....

I seen that guy too. He had white over kill yet it turned out pretty nice. I liked how it looked but I think this guy something "different".

You should do different colored plastics like white/blue or white/red where the back is different than the front.

Just keep with the general color scheme of Honda, I've never been a fan of a Blue or Green Honda, just seems anti-something

Do the orange in this florescent color with a set of white plastics and black accents. I've always wanted to do my 450 like this but i went with green instead. Maybe some white CV4 hoses?

Block motor accents?

This is my sister's quad, trans purple frame, purple flake gen-x hood, the pic doesn't do the purple justice, it looks bluish in the picture but it is like a dark purple.
