even though it was last weekend, i wanted to give a huge shout out to team USA for winning this years motocross des nations over in Italy. Ryan Dungey, Jake Weimer and Ivan Tedesco brought home the gold once again for team USA. congrats boys. was a close race but yall pulled it out for us Americans :D

for those of you who dont know about the des nations, its a world race kinda likie the olympics. every 2 years all the mx countries in the world send 3 riders (250,450,open) over to compete with and against the best of the world. its a 3 moto format with all scores added together to come up with a over all score. we have taken home this honors something like 19 outta the last 21 tries. we have the best mx racers in the world here and again, we have showed the world we are the cream of the crop. congrats boys. you are the best in the world. once again.

does the Chamberlin Trophy get rotated around to the new winner like the Stanley Cup ? I know the riders get individual trophies(a cup i think).

yes they get an individual trophy. but i think its more like a copy of the Chamberlian trophy. i saw a few interviews with RC a few years back and he had a few on his manttle piece. he stated that they are one of his prize trophys. along with his 1st 125sx title and his 1st 250sx title. but i think Roger Decoster gets to take control of it til the next race. i think i read that somewhere.
