well for about a year my dad was driving my diesel cause he couldn't find a truck he liked. I ended up having to sell my diesel to help a friend out so they wouldnt loose their house. So after all that my dad had to go looking at trucks and was told you need a truck quit being so picky so he just bought a 07 dodge ram 1500 5.7 hemi big horn edition only 13,000 miles got a deal on it. This truck is fun to drive already had it out in the woods but what he doesnt know wont hurt him. Already got plans for it exhaust,CAI,nerf bars, superchips programmer, tonneau cover, prob going to ditch the wheels too.

345 hp 375 ft lb of torque Has mds(multi displacement system) switches from 8 to 4 cylinders when there is no load and you are maintaining a constant speed.

My dakota 5.2 (230 hp) vs 5.7 (345 hp) What a difference when you switch.

My bro in law has flowmasters on his and when your sitting in the back you have to talk louder so the people up front can hear you. Forget about even talking in the truck when he is pulling the camper cause all it does is bounce off of it and it is super loud. I think my dad is going to get magnaflows He likes the sound of mine on my dakota which they are loud but not that loud for when I come home at 1 in the morning lol they still have a nice deep rumble to them

magnaflows are nice, just a different sound. if you don't want the "drone" inside, look at flowmaster 50 SUV series. i'll try to get video of it on our f150. it sounds nice outside, but its hardly louder on the inside.

gorgeous truck! i wouldn't spend the money on nerf bars though. i would spend that money on tint and HID's if it were me.

You get it used from courtesty dodge or ford?

I was eyeing up an 08 F350 at blue know with 900 miles on it. I'm planning on buying a new truck in the spring, but if I had some stuff payed off now I would've got it.

My mom and dad just picked up an '09 Ram Sport 4x4 ... all black .. 390-something horsepower, it's a beautiful truck and the ride has completly changed. They were not at all impressed with their 06Ram 1500 4x4 but the '09s blew them away. Hell it even impressed me.

I'm still waiting to line up my Tundra Crewmax against his Sport though. There's a bet on the line ... loser pays for dinner.

I say this all the time "man I wish this forum had a multi quote button" oh well

I dont really care for the wheels either the only thing I like about them is it adds to it when they truck is all shined up. Its a habbit for me to cover up the plate you never know what kind of person wants to get back at you and ends up calling in your plate to be a major d!#k

I dont care for nerfs either unless its a lifted truck but my parents are short(5'9 and 5'10 and that was the first thing my mom noticed me being at 6'3 I dont need them lol I can convince him to get the hids but I dont know if he will go for the tint I did mine on my dak and it was pre cut from ebay and it looks good and my dad didnt mind it so there might be a slim chance

We got it from dodge They had a white 09 they were going to sell us it was pretty nice but my dad was like if im going to pay that much I want something with everything I want and my mom was getting mad casue my dad has been doing that for about a year now and she was like you better find a truck cause were not leaving until you do plus my dak was the only truck we had well other than the power ram but that thing is on its last leg right now.

Yeah I do like the 09's they have a mean looking front I think thats why I like them. My buddy borrowed his uncles 09 tundra crewmax and I fell in love with it had every option and its got some stuff to it will burn the tires too if you turn the traction control off  it vs my dads ram it blew it away but I think with the 09's it might be close.
