got a new 450r today and my thoughts about my first ride were............... my trx 450 seems to have a little more power. i think with a pipe, filter and efi controller it will open it up.

Your butt was correct.

If you can, wait until the Vortex or Dynatek ECU replacement comes out. They should really wake up the R.

For now, take the pea shooter out and the airbox lid off. It will run a little better, as they come a little rich from the factory.

Trust me, I've tried it all. Nothing will give the R comparable power to a good running TRX, except cubic dollars.............. For now.

im working to much to really get t o ride it for the next couple weeks i when i had my raptor 700 i got a trinity pipe and ecu it really woke it up trinitys stuff seemed to be right on after screwing with a power commander and hmf pipe for about 3 months had it dynoed and custom mapped and still wasnt right the trinity really was good but this is a whole diffrent machine here has any body had this set up on there r?
