I was told that the set up for mx on a +3 a-arms was also +1 forward, and that a xc was +0 forward. Most people say that +1 forward was not that great. Looking at buying a used +3 set up.

Odds are they are +3 wide and +0 forward,,,you will need to get LT shocks probably,,which are 19 inch compared to the normal 16 inch..

it has axis shocks. how would you know if it's +1 or +0. and how wide would it be with a 4-1 wheel

Well I don't really know how you'd find out if there +1 or +0,,i don't think roll made +3 arms with +1 forward demensions for 400ex's because they made it handle like poop. I guess you could call roll and ask if he produced and sold +3/+1 arms for a 400ex...but be careful,,he might charge you $50 a second to talk to him... :o

With the 4/1 offset you should be at 49 ta 50 inches wide...;)

rolls 400ex +3's are a +1 forward . why?? beats me? also. unless they are roll design lobo 2's or lobo's then they are a standard legth shock. rico is right. +1 forward is usualy not liked.

the information is not first hand. but I didn't just read it from here or antoher site. its comon knowledge. therefor Im not 100% positive. only 99.5%
