exhaust argument

ok me and my buddy r sitting here arguing about if my old slip on for my 2002 CBR F4i 600 would work on my 400ex. yes it would have to b cut down and welded on but would it work or is it deisgned just for a crotch rocket??? its a yoshi R-3 if that helps at all

I don't think it would mess up a thing as long as the carb was properly tuned. There's really not that much difference from one of those mufflers to another as far as type of construction. Certainly not saying that one doesn't work better or isn't made with more quality or with better tuning than any other, but the basic design is the same.

One thing it would do is take a whole lot more time to make work and look half as good as one that was made to bolt up in the first place, but it sounds like an interesting project.
