Ive got an extra 2001 400ex motor and carb forsale, we have owned the bike since 2003 and was almost brand new when bought, motor has hotcam stage1 cam in it and thats all, never bored, never split, had a clutch put in about 4 years ago, It has quite a few hours on it (mostly trail ridden by my brother, dont worry is had not been beat on by me ;) ) , it starts and runs great just alittle down on power i noticed, not using oil. But its definetly time for a bore and piston.
oil and airfilter was changed every other ride on this bike i made sure of it. never seen deep water or anyhting crazy just a well used and well taken care of 400ex motor

The motor and carb are still in the frame right now but pending sale it can be removed and cleaned and packed for shipping in less than 24hours.
here is a picture from a few years back when we rebuilt the bike for my brother this is the motor, its not as spotless as in the picture but our bikes have always been washed before put away and does not have much "baked on brown" itll be clean.
