By doing so, it'll help clean up the forum for those looking to get mechanical information rather than having to sift through pages of For Sale postings.

We usually move all for sale postings into the classified section, but since we do not have a section dedicated to Hybrid quads , we have been allowing the posting of bikes for sale in this section so long as it fits the Hybrid definition.

Your cooperation in doing so by posting under this thread will help clean up the Hybrids section.

TC Shorty Exhaust off a PRP CRF450 Hybrid. Im sure it fits most other hybrids too. The tab on the silencer was broken off. I added a stainless wrap around clap to get me through the season... It can be used like this or another mount could easily be welded on. The rest of the exhaust is in good shape.

PWR 250r over sized aluminum radiator couple of the nipples that goe through the mounts have been welded on so that would need to be fixed. i built upper and lower cradle mounts for the radiator. $150 on ebay now

i will sell all listed above so you have everything to drop the motor in and be ready to run. this will include the front motor mount horns made of aluminum and also built by ss400ex for $1100

front a-arms, houser plus 3 long travel, chrome uppers and candy blue powder coated lowers, powder is a few years old but is still in pretty good shape $350 on ebay now

front shocks, custom axis long travel, tripple rate, remote rezzies, adjustable compression and rebound. i bought these shocks from stocktires here on the forum. they were totally rebuilt invluding new shafts, springs have new powder coat and they have quad tech carbon fiber shields on them, they are 19 inches long and came off a jb frame with 250r geometry. they were a little soft on our 400 frame. no time on these shocks. $650 on ebay now

Well my buddy built this thing a few years ago and now he doesn't ride it. He estimated 15k into this quad and he is wanting to sell it. He didn't mess around when he built this and all NEW parts went onto this thing except a radiator which was used.

This thing is on its 3rd yes THIRD tank of gas and will seriously rip **** up. list of mods on it and a few pictures.

Gpr stabilizer fresh rebuild, also has been machined back by gpr for tighter turning radius. This is set up for antivibe 250r. Its will raise the bars +1 and it can be either stock or +1 forward. sorry its dirty but its in great condition.

Solve your overheating problems for good! Heres everything you need to put a fan on a crf hybrid quad. Kit includes trailtech lighting stator and regulator/rectifier as well as a 4800 uf capaciter. This motor is a 2002 YZ426 Dirtbike motor. I ran it in my 250r Hybrid. It has a wet-sump ( or is it dry sump?) oil conversion kit so it eliminates the need for a oil tank, see the pictures below. It has a WR450 crank. I'm assuming this becuase the wristpin is an 18mm and thats the size of the WR. Also, I measured the stroke and it was 63.4, which makes the bike a true 450. The cylinder is a YFZ450 cylinder, I ran this so I could run a 450 head. Always ran Amsoil, fresh rings, it doesnt even have 30 minutes on them. I can sell with or without the cylinder whichever you want. I also have the complete wiring harness, and a YZ400F carb that I ran on it. This motor rips! Prices will vary depending on what stuff you do and dont want. Just PM me and ill send you a quote.

picked up a sponser at a yamaha shop we are building another one in a yfz is why we are selling. all the head scratching and headache has been done for you. all you need is a motor,carb,and electrical every thing else is done. motors are 700 to 1000 on ebay you can have a sweet 250 hybrid for under 3k. i have a friend selling a wr250 motor for $800

Complete running bike. Not a showroom bike, but it's the Nicest 400 around here no joke. I built it to ride it. You'll see.. Extended all the way around: jb a arms, front 450r gtthunder shocks, rear pep zero preload w/ baldwin linkage on 06 450r swingarm, ext. axle, sparks exhaust, 39mm fcr, tires, wheels, too much too list. 06 trx450er: $1600

Bike is currently a rolling chassis at the moment. Just painted frame and subframe. 05 Front end - burgard chrome uppers and lowers, 05 spindles, elka triple rates. Rear - axis rear shock. Top end of motor is apart, bottom end is still together. Motor ran when it was taken apart. I have everything you need to put it back together except fenders. Again, I can provide pics if interested..

03 400ex/06 crf450r JB/CRF HYBRID: $1900

Bike is currently apart as I stripped the rear end off to put my 450r back together.. Everything from swingarm pivot bolt -->forward is still together. I have stock 400ex parts that can be used to put it back together unless you want to customize with your own parts.

Motor is a rocket, super reliable. Hammer Racing 2006 CRF 450r motor, full port job on head, je 13.5:1, stock cam, stock ignition. new shift forks & linkage in trans.


I can go on and on about all 3 of them. I also have nerfs for the trx450, lots of parts - stock takeoffs and aftermarket. Too much to list. I want someone to come clean me out of everything I have.

This bike started off as a 400ex and after upgrading all the suspension and chassis it was time to go hybrid, yup slapped a yz426 power plant in the beast. This bike is fast and handles like a dream. I used to work for LRD performance and have been a gear head for many years. I recently rebuilt the engine with new piston rings, cam chain, cam chain guides, clutch discs, all done with Yamaha factory parts and all preventative maintenance. I put together a quick build list but I know I am missing parts.

Custom designed and machined see thru oil tank w/ bullet proof glass
Engine is ported by Arlen Ness of LRD with many other performance upgrades including power valve, CR flat side carb, exhaust, six disc clutch upgrade along with sprockets which makes this bike keep up with the ltr 450 and trx 450 and many other 450 bikes.
I also made a keg air box which I love.
Maxxis tires w/ 90 percent tread and bead lock reinforced rims. Bike also comes with sand paddles on rims.
It's stretched slightly and widened with a extended axle, swing arm and a-arms all which make this corner like it is rails.
Elka shocks all around to compliment the stance.
For controls:
Anti vibe steering stem
Flexx bars
Asv lever
Twist conversion
That's over 600$ on just the handlebars
Nerf bars with fat pegs
Frame has been notched and gusseted and has an aluminum skid plate to guard all the goods.
To cool the beast a oversized aluminum radiator featuring clear rad lines and rad shrouds.
There is a few other things like full bore plastic, aftermarket hubs, control lever's (shift, brake lever) alum duel row bearing carrier w/ new swingarm bearings (done a month ago) I know there's more I just can't think of right now.

I am looking for a cbr 600 rr to trade and have cash to throw in oon the right deal. I will consider a trade on a similar sport bike like r6 , r1 , cbr 1000 rr , Cash is always great but at this price I am loosing money so am not looking for some low ball offer. Looking for a mx hybrid or 250r. This 1000cc aprilia Vtwin ltr needs lots of work for it to be finished but i have most its parts . Mostly just welding. Not only the best V twin super bikes but they are Italian and make the best sound of any bike made. I used to build East coast atv hybrids.
