do the 2007 trx250ex have rev limiters in 5th gear ? thanks

yes, there is only one rev limiter, doesn't matter what gear your in

is there any way around this my kids just started flat track racing with me and the limiter is not good in 5th gear

I would advise against not having a rev limiter at all. I think they do sell higher limit rev boxes from aftermarket vendors. There is a specific forum for the 250ex under 350cc under, and then 250ex. Go in there and do a search for rev limiter and you will get lots of results.

yea
you can find rev boxes on ebay (procom is the name i think) and it either eliminates the rev limiter or raises it by 1000 rpm, i cant remember which
