air box cover

Recently I removed my rear plasics to clean my air box and K&N air filter and when i looked at my outerwear cover it had a rip down the middle of it. I was wondering if there is anything that i can get that would be more durable because ive only had it for 2 years. Also is it bad to run my bike with this rip in the cover?

Two years on a filter is about all your going to get.
All the washing and cleaning wears them out.
Time for a new one.

As far as running it, it depends where you are ridding.
If it has the breather cover and snorkel still on it then you can run it if it's not to dusty. Just use plenty of filter oil.

If it were me I'd wait till I got another filter cover.

You can try to use a hot glue gun to fix the old one.
