I followed that road to CB then made a left then a right...ended up on 29/127

I will try and make a few runs out that way over the coming weeks as the fall color moves in....nice area!

You my friend need to get busy....that river is loaded and will be over run with birds by the time the normal season comes in during december/january.....find us some spots!!!

LOL,you took the scenic route.

I will get us some spots to hunt them.I don't know why I never got interested in hunting them.Everyone around here just views them (geese) as a nuisance......nobody I know of around here hunts them except the game warden I was telling you about.
I am sure I can find some people who want us to get rid of some of 'em :D

Not yet. Oct. 17th till the 24th is the early season and I took the whole week off to kill some ducks. The migration has definitely started, saw a ton of new geese on the shore last week and have heard the ducks are starting to move in. I'm gonna be on the shore this weekend and plan to get out in the boat and see what's around the marsh.

Roger that

I have to leave thursday night and head to Hatfield..wont be back till sunday then leave again and head to Indiana for a Kawi event ....then Ironman the weekend after that but we havent seen many birds here so no biggie.

Looks to me like alot of our birds are on smaller water now...like in the above pics or in fields that are being harvested.

Yeah you should start too see more every day. I haven't seen this many birds on the shore this early in a while. Talbot co. just started cutting their corn and beans and Dorchester isn't far behind. Should provide some good forage to keep the birds around, if they don't eat it all up quick. If the weather continues like this it should be good a lot earlier and as long as it doesn't freeze up too hard I'm expecting a great year.

Haha, no doubt. I have a few chewed up props too prove it. 10 days of breaking 6" ice, just to get out and hunt the last 2 days (it was well worth the effort though  ) I have a few tricks up my sleeve for ole man winter this year!

Now thats what I like to hear!!!

Go scout it and look for birds, and buy your federal stamp. The early season will be out soon but we might be able to sneak in a morning or two
