year is 2001,wanted hotcam stage 2 so i can run stock rockers ect.my postal address is dl1 5aw.
i went to our local dealers today,trying to get a xr400 stage 2 cam,told the guy the story,that its for a 400ex which is more or less the same engine,said to him i had put a 440 kit on with scorpion full pipe,and k&n filter.and he turned round and said that a stage 2 would be of no use to me.now im puzzled.john

he probably doesnt sell it.....most of the time the dealerships only push what they sell

as i said earlier,its so hard to get parts in the uk for the ex.the hunt goes on,maddison only do a stage 1.not recommended for the 440.john

thanks mate,i can get them on ebay easly,but buy the time i get the shipping costs plus the uk tax duty on them it makes it unaffordable,a uk dealer is the only way i can get more power,for less outlay,but thanks for your help. john
