Best brand of plastic

Like it says, looking to get white plastic for my 05' 450r. Suggestions?

stock, or laker custom, i like lakers but alot of people think they are to smalll

Maier didnt hold up for me to well i think the stock plastic is the most durable.

I think some is a prefernce too...everyone will have an idea what they feel is the "best".

I have Fullbore on mine and it held up better than my Maier on my EX.Ive had stock plastic be some of the worst on a dif quad .

I do have to agreee though.. OEM Honda plastic is pretty durable,but I think the Carbon White is the sickest white plastic. lol

Maybe post a WTB White OEM in the wanted section?? I think honda came with a choice in white at one time didnt it? :confused: I cant remember ...

yeah they made the 07 r's white. Search ebay. Yamaha of Troy used to sell them. Just make sure you get the kicker version(now that i think about, I think that is when they were only making the red kickers....not sure).

I think your right on that. They might have made black too, but I dont think they had the white then.

The white carbon fiber Maier plastic is sooo nice! I actually have an extra set for an '05 450R that is brand new (never even mounted) that I'm trying to sell for waaaaaaay under what it would cost to get it from Maier. If you might be interested just pm me. Thanks!

I have the one piece front plastic from maier and I really like it. It doesn't flop around, and it's pretty durable. The rear, not so much, I keep breaking the crappy brackets they send with it. I will probably end up going back to stock plastic.

Laker is some of the best IMO as far as durability goes. We had some fullbore hoods that were very nice, but never a full set of plastic so I cant comment.

OEM Honda holds up very well. OEM yamaha I hate. The blue gets crease marks in it so fast.

I agree with the laker plastic we are still using a set of Silver on one of our XC quads that was purchased in 2006 still looks good for an xc quad.

Thanks for the input i appreciate it! I wondered about oem and i didn't know if the 06 and 07 would fit on an 05. i don't race and would like to keep my light for the trails. I assumed as long as i used my hood that 06 or 07 kicker white would work.
