What kind of piston is recommended

Have any of you guys had CP pistons and are they worth the money? If I am tearing my engine down only one time what kind of piston do you recommend and will they affect me running pump fuel because i want to stay away from race gas.

85mm 11.1 piston will keep you at pump gas, but you have to use 91 or 93 octane.

JE or Wiseco in that order. For JE you can can 10.6:1 compression for the 86mm and for the 87mm you can get 10.8:1 and both you will be able to run pump gas. As long as you stay below 11:1 you can run pump gas.

With running either of those setups you dont have to have the GT thunder studs. It wont hurt and then you wont have to ever worry.

Your gasket choice and cam choice are top notch.

I have been running both wiseco and pro-x they are both about the same except with wiseco you HAVE to use wiseco rings pro-x is pretty much universal i guess you would say i am running a pro-x right now and it is treating me pretty good no problems at all again i would give you all the specs lol if i knew them i have said before i am pretty new into riding about a year and a half now so gimme sometime lol

In automotive applications, CP seem to be the favorite in boosted applications. Not real sure why but theres a lot that do not like JE. I havent really seen a piston fail on a ATV so I dont think it matters what brand you choose.

I will probably go with the wiseco 86mm 11:1. This will have no problems running 91/93 octane correct?
