Hii, I want to know which pipe will be the best for what i'm doing
my part list:
87 cylinder
mid and top range porting
295cc sleeve
87 long rod
esr ignition
pro design cool head (185psi pump fuel)
v-force3 reed valve
38mm A/S carb
air box eliminator kit
K&N filter
I'm would like to do MX and TT race this year
I was thinking to a Esr trx9, is that a great pipe for my setup or i need smaller or bigger ?
and if my setup make high Hp I will also do small local drag race

I say get the ESR TRX-9 pipe......thats what I have and I love it. With what your motor has done to it, I think it would work well. You have a mid-top port job, so that pipe should work well. Just my 2cents.......

i'll 3rd that.
I would go with the ESR TRX5. If you're going to be motocross racing, you might not like that TRX9 too much.

The ESR TRX5 is the all around pipe. I run one with a mild port.
Very happy.:)

duncan paul turner mid pipe, or type 6 for low end, good for ice races and mx, but not drag.

I agree, the TRX-9 pipe may not be good for MX or probably even TT racing. It has a harder hit through the mid-range.

I am a fan of the LRD pipe and silencer. I've owned a number of XC "R's"...all have had this pipe installed after experimenting with other brands.

i'll second that. i have a 310 that i trail ride with the trx 9 and its two much for the woods. i just recently bought a 5 and it is a night and day difference. your not shifting as much and it really doesnt hold the heat in the pipe that bad. thats my two nickels.
