If everything works good and no real problems then $2000 is a good price to me.

Gotta find the right buyer

People who don't appreciate or know anything about older trucks will say what they think it is worth but have no clue what they're talking about. Some kid told me he wouldn't have paid more than a grand for my truck. I laughed my *** off. Especially considering I've been offered 7k for it cash in a wal-mart parking lot. Ahahaha.

in this economy....1500 maybe less IMO but you might be able to get more if you find the "right buyer"

its worth every penny of that to me. If it was a 3/4 ton that would double the price for me. I love those trucks. My first was a 78 Reg. Cab 1 ton. The guy i bought it off of had bought in new in alaska when he was workin on the pipeline. I was acting dumb in it one night and spun the bearings in the original 351M so we pulled the motor and automatic out and put it a 460 4spd. Oh man she was a tank then. but a gas hog.

If the motor is as built as your sig says it is, I would hold out and get 2000 for it.

And Nova. People make offers they can't back up. Get used to it.

a '78 with '79 headlights.

I applaud, though I do love the 68-72 front ends..

I'd keep the '79 for a while, let some more offers come in. If you need the money right now, then by all means sell, but if you aren't hurting for money and don't NEED to get rid of her, dont.

Whats the interior like? Any rips or tears?

Here's my '79 F100. It's got a few things done to it..

Truck should be worth that if it runs good period. If you were closer, I would almost consider it, and I'm anti Ford. lol. But your truck has some things that make it very valuable to the right person.

I spent a small fortune on those heads, especially after the porting and valves. Lunati Pacaloy beehive style springs.. At least I know my valvetrain is stable.:p

Im driving the truck. I got home from school last friday, and tore into it immediately. Finished it up sunday afternoon, and went out to abuse it:devil:

My brand new rear tires.. are not brand new anymore.

I had my skinnies on the front because I was polishing my Classic 2's.

Yanking a motor and putting it back in that same weekend is what will break you of mechanicing. Been there done that. lol

I love every minute of it.

I start college at UNOH (University of Northwestern Ohio) August 23, 2010. I'll have my associates in High-Performance Motorsports, and I'll (hopefully) get to spend the rest of my life doing something I love.

I didn't yank it out, just took it down to the shortblock.:D
