Hey guys has anyone tried out the new dirt trax tires? My lt250r is needing some new tread and these are priced good. The rears look like they would be good in soft terrain which would be perfect for what i ride in. any feedback would be appreciated...

man i kinna like these tires.

The STI Dirt Trax ATV Tire has a light-weight 6-ply dimpled knob design offers a comfortable ride and exceptional control over a wide variety of surfaces. The flexible carcass provides unmatched performance in soft, loose conditions such as sand and snow. The front tire steers light, tracks straight and rides smooth. The low-profile 21-7-10 and 20-11-9 size combo offers MX type handling for the trails at a value price.

rears look like they would slide out easily, fronts look like they would function well

that was my thoughts. fronts look like decent all around tires, but i wouldn't use the rears.. ever

i love tires that slide easy, its my riding style so thats why i would prolly like em. i just play ride so traction isn't an issue. i'm usually spinning the tires. lol

if you ride hard enough any tire slides, the less they slide out the harder you can ride:macho

I'm almost certain that Titan used to make a tire with this pattern. Always thought the rears would make good meats for the snow, or in sloppy trails/hills.

yep they did, they were called titan trail claws. im thinking about trying these tires later on. RMatv has em pretty cheap, about 58$ for 20-11x9 and about 65$ for 22-11x9. All I ever ride is trails and I bet these tires would work good. they probably would slide easy but those shoulder knobs look like they would bite good in off camber ruts and stuff like that. and staight line traction would be awesome in any kind of loose dirt or anything like that, slick hardpack might be a little different though, but its hard to find any tire that hooks up in that.
