clutch problems

i have an 03 400ex and when you pull the clutch in it pulls in a little stiffer than i think it sould what could be the problem.

The majority of the time it is the cable. You can either replace it or clean it. Sometimes cleaning doesn't help. Do you have stock clutch lever?

yes it is the stock lever

the stock lever could b getting hung up in the housing. take it out and try and clean the lever and the housing. if that doesn't clear it up then get cable clear/lube. if that doesn't help u might wanna look into getting a new cable.
