Suspension/chassis grease type??

What type of grease does eveyone prefer to use on their 'wheelers?

When I rebuilt my 250R, I put in all new suspension and swingarm bearings, and packed them with marine grease from my boat. I want to get a tube of good grease just for my 'R, and am wondering what kind to get.

Should I buy the Bel Ray waterproof grease, or a quality synthetic grease?

for some reason i never bought water proof grease but all i ever use is wheel bearing grease. Probably because i have a tubs of it at home, but i have never ahd a problem with it so...
