View Full Version : Troubleshooting No spark
98 blaster with no spark. Do I just get my meter and start kicking it over and testing voltage? The previous owner thought that the pickup coil was bad, which one is that? I'm not a noob to quads just to blasters.

Have you checked to see if the flywheel key has broke? Has happened to 2 buddies and myself over last couple years. Only other electrical probs. I have seen on more than a dozen blasters family/friends/myself have had was a bad on/off switch and a bad coil. The coil under the front of the seat.
I've got a wiring harness coming, going over the current harness and it's been hacked a few times.
Ended up being a broken plug wire and coil.
