Guys need some help and/or giving heads up. I had a +2 front end set up on my honda 450 with ITP T9 3-2 wheels. This put me all over 49.5". Decided to go with the new hiper CF1A non beadlock fronts and lossed over an 1 1/2" in over all width in my front end!!! Not the plan at all... Has anyone seen this happen to them?? In talks with Hiper currently but trying to get some input as to why there wheels pulled me in narrow??

It's the offset of the wheels. The ITP's had 2 inches to the outside. The Hipers are probably 4:1, so only 1 inch to the outside.

It will probably handle better with the 4:1 wheels anyway.

No these are the hiper 3-2 and not the 4-1's. When I talked to them we confirmed the dimensions over the phone.

Take some measurements on both wheels. Measure from where it mounts at the hub to the inside and outside edge. The offset is going to be different than 3:2 on one of them, if the only thing you changed were the wheels and it got narrower by 1.5".

I know this...all I'm trying to say is if you get 3-2 from Hiper non-beadlock and expect tru 3-2 they are not. I am just seeing if anyone has had the same compliant with this going from another type wheel with "same" offset!!!!!!!!
