okay so what do you do if your not gonna make it? your close enough to the top that you think you might and then the bike comes to a stop. I did that on my old 300ex and tried to back it down by feathering the clutch and using the brakes but it got sideways and rolled to the bottom distroying the whole bike. I just wanted to know what to do in that situation. I'm not doing that on my 450r or raptor.

The next time I head up to the trails we ride at, I'll snap some pics of the hills up there. There are two or three that look similar to the first pic. I've yet to make it up any of them though.

The best thing you can do is jump off to the right and hold the front brake, and back brake if you need to. It will sit there. While holding the front brake with left hand, pull the front end around until it's pointing back down. Hop on and ride it down.

It's easiest if you do it in one quick motion. Especially on a pebble/coal hill like that.

haha too much work. I just lay the bike down, jump off so I'm above it, turn my gas off, spin the bike around and jump on.

Easy enough for two wheels:p But I guarantee you I could get my wheeler turned around quicker than your bike:D

haha all depends on the hill and which side of the bike I fall on lol. If I fall and the bike is above me on a steep hill, it's hard to get above the bike to turn it around, but if I'm above it piece of cake!

i bet its still a task with how loose that stuff looks.. that hill is probably bigger than what the picture shows as well.
