on the wiseco racers choice piston, is there anyhthing different other than the electra coating? Does it really make it much better? If i had the choice to spend a few extra bux and get an electra coated should i? more hours between piston changes or just something to sell?

Thanks!

piston coatings do work but the only long lasting coating is ceramic on the piston dome

all the coatings on the side skirts tend to wear off after some use.

but a moly coating on the skirts might be beneficial to not cold seizing the piston in ported 250r cylinders

i have never seen it on the dome but on my wossner piston its on the skirt and we will see how much is left when i take hte top end off after roughly 20 hours of riding.
