if i was to ground the fan and make it run all the time will the red light still come on if it gets hot??

i dont think the light is connected to the fan i think it is connected to the thermostat

no the light will not work. When i grounded my fan the light was on ALL THE TIME. Unplugged it and got on with my life.

yea the light is wired into the fan ground circuit which plugs to the top of the thermostat housing. when you ground the fan to run full time the light will be on. just take the light off and keep the fan grounded
