motor build by hetrick racing?

im having my motor built to a 426.

port and polish
cam
hd studs
11:1 ross racing piston
timing chain
valves
springs
ext...

my question is, has anybody dealt with hetrick racing and are they a good company to send my motor to?

From what i have heard they are pretty good. I have not had any personal experience with them though. steve

they are local to me...they do wonders with mini motors and the few people i have known that have had 400ex motors done by them have been happy and have not had any probs that i know of...

thanks. ill be taking a 4hr drive down to oil city frim up here in new york in december for the build. i already talked some of it over with rich hetrick. gonna be a ripper. he said he can get me 45 horses on a stock carb

I am also local. They have always know there stuff when I have been there or have called. They have always been very busy when I have been there. So they are doing something right

a buddy of mine had a 440 built be them. lectron carb ext.. 54 hp on race gas.

rich said they get backed up in winter sometimes so call in advance. so they must know there stuff.

how big is there race shop there for joel and there sponsored riders?

All I know is Hetrick Racing is a pretty darn big deal on the KFX 450R scene.
