Where do you get the color pads? and how do you get the colored plastic parts? or do they just paint them.

Ok I found out people do get them painted but I still can't find the color pads. I probably wont even do this to mine but I still just want to know.

I thought you had to request them when your order is placed

maybe they can be bought seperate..as for the hard pieces yes paint them

As far as the colored members, they are painted. The only other color pad offered is gray and it's on the TLD edition brace. All the others are sticker kits.

I didnt see anything about it on their web site. I googled it too. The only one I can find is that leatt sock that is white with these red and blue lines on it. But if you look in magazines and stuff you will see a lot of riders including pros with the different colors(and no its not just a sticker)
Doesnt joe byrd have a red one with the honda logo on it? the honda might be a sticker but the red has to be the pad.

listen to what they are telling you. it is simply a decal kit for the brace.

actually, i have seen a few leatt's in the past few weeks that have been painted. and they also had graphic kits on them. the one i really liked and wanted to ask dude about was slime green with the standard black padding. and i know it was the frame of his leatt painted cause he had a graphic kit on it and you can see the green outline around and under the graphics. was pretty trick.

yes. alot of the time they are just sticker kits. we already agreed on that. but what we are discussing is, some guys have been showing up with the "frame" of there leatt painted a dif color. not a graphic kit. look in pic above. you can see the grapgic kit. but the leatt itself is actuall painted. looks green and pink to me. just trying to figure out where and with what you paint the "frame" with.

You can only get it in white, grey(TLD) and black.
idc cuz I want white padding with blue brace, but they need to make more colors for other people whot want to mix it up. They would probably sell like crazy too.

and for the record, i will be sending my leatt to them asap. well, asap after the sesons over. haha wonder how the paint holds up. chips scratches ect??

the "colored" pads have been out for a while. Ever since the TLD brace came out. Cernic's had a white set a while ago, but I wasn't spending the money on them. I'm getting an Astars, so no more money into my leatt.

As far as the paint holding up, it's not bad. My buddy's dad owns a body shop so he gets all the goodies customized. It does seem to rub off pretty quick if you wear a chest protector

Yeah see I knew they exsisted I just didnt know where to find it, I wish you would have posted sooner though lol. Does cernics still carry them?

no I've only seen them there once. I think it was because someone ordered them and never picked them up, but they sold quick. I'm sure you could order them through cernic's. If you are going to paint it, throw a few good coats of clear on it as well.
